There is a downside to being given credit - if you find yourself being
hailed as a hero, then your process probably isn't working. Heroes pull
it
out at the last minute, bypass the process, get large amounts of
recognition, and don't have to apologize for lesser quality. Sometimes
it
seems like you do become invisible when your process is working well.
