There are two "authorities" for copyright notices in the United States: the Library of Congress and a copyright lawyer. The latter will give you more information on international copyright laws and how to protect your company. Copyrighting your material, however, is only part of the process. Enforcing a copyright is very difficult, especially on a global level.
