There are good supervisors and bad ones. From my experience, it has little
to do whether they have a tech communication background or not.
Incidentally, the bad ones with a TC background are usually a lot worse than
the bad ones without.

Good management is about getting priorities right. About knowing what
matters most, and how the others plug in sequentially. On whether to buy a
new saddle or just cinch it right.

Bad management often stems from people who stand a whole head and shoulder
above their brain.
