In Outlook 2003;

Select View > Arrange by
Then select both "Date" and "Show in Groups".

Gives me "Today, Yesterday, Last Week"

HTH

Anybody customized MS Outlook lately?

I've been using my current config for years without change. Outlook is what
is mandated by the employer.
A new kid at our office wants to install Outlook Express because he doesn't
like the way full Outlook is showing his message-received dates.

He prefers Today, Yesterday, Sunday, Saturday... Last Week, Last Month...
Previous Millenium...

I remember switching that OFF in KMail and possibly in Pegasus, because I
really dislike that style. I don't remember if that was ever an option in
Outlook.
Can't seem to find it in the menus, and the Help is, as usual, unhelpful.

What I did find was about a dozen different ways to display date-and-time,
but none with that Today, Yesterday... etc.

A cube neighbor was trying to tell the new kid that he needed to set up
reports and other db-ish stuff, but that sounds a little excessive.

Anybody know what I'm talking about and where it is set? Outlook 2003.

Kevin (who doesn't expect to hear from Americans today - happy fourth!)
