Hi Ami,

If you are using any other apps or plugins that have something to do with FrameMaker, make sure that they are not picky about the FM version.

We have one writer on 7.2 and three writers on 7.1. We don't have any problems exchanging files. The problem we do have is with WebWorks Publisher 2003 for FrameMaker. We didn't realize when we decided to put the new writer on FM 7.2 that WWP version 8.0.8.2296 is not compatible with 7.2.

Quadralay released a later version 8.6.6587.0 that claims to be compatible with 7.2, but when we contacted them, they advised us against installing that version for the writer on 7.2 for our situation, because it could cause problems when she opens the template/existing projects. (Does anyone have any thoughts about this?)

Good luck,
Vanessa Vandervalk
