Wendy, I haven't punched in the numbers on a COL calculator,
but offhand my guess is that $25/hr in Ohio is probably close
to being equivalent to $50/hr here.

You guys make me feel bad. $25/hr is what I'm making and I have 22 years experience in software and machine controls.
The Ohio economy is about the most depressed in the nation right now.
