You can find out more about Acrobat 8 at:
www.acrobatusers.com

and my own views at
http://www.acrobatusers.com/blogs/pdftrainer/2006/09/18/acrobat-isn%e2%80%99t-just-a-product-anymore-it%e2%80%99s-a-brand/

Although the site is sponsored by Adobe, it includes many non-Adobe
perspectives, including my own.

When deciding whether the upgrade is worthwhile to you, the answer is always
"it depends." Do your research and then decide. Plus, recently Adobe has
made fully functional 30-day trials of Acrobat 7 available via download, so
I would expect you will be able to try 8 before you buy.

The thing that has many of us in the Acrobat community excited about 8 is
the new capability to turn on "saving" rights in the free Reader. There's a
lot more, including a new, customizable interface.

It is hard to "rush" when the product isn't shipping until
November.
But Adobe is offering a discount for pre-orders, so you do
have the potential to save some money by ordering now
rather than later.
