[SJH] My personal pet peeve in this regard is couples (or as we biologists
like to refer to them: 'mated pairs':) who have a shared email address. I
don't have anything against a 'household email account' (except that I think
it's pretty pointless), but there's really NO reason each person shouldn't
have a unique email account (possible exception: children).
Frankly I don't see much use for household phone numbers for very much
longer; I think as people get away from landline usage they will become as
scarce as household email addys - and good riddance!
