I use PSP to take screenshots. I also use it to clean up photos of our
equipment and components (since some folks don't know how to turn off
timestamping on our digital camera). I use it to the exclusion of other
tools in order to edit any graphics used in our presentations, documents,
and other projects.

I have also used PSP to develop banners and buttons for websites. I REALLY
like the product and see it as getting a very powerful product for not alot
of money.

That said, I've had to use other products for image work at other
employers...much of which could be done with PSP also. I have used "image
editors" to create screen elements that changed after the screenshot was
taken. I've also made screens smaller while not sacrificing any of the
elements on the screen in the screenshot. A really good team lead who is a
graphics designer taught me alot of tricks to make that work...

I actually prefer the "cheaper" graphics solutions to things like
Photoshop...

Has anyone else used Paint Shop in their technical writing? Assuming
that nobody in the upper echelons decides we need a corporate newsletter
and "volunteers" me to create it, I'd like to know what everyone on the
list has done with their image editors.
