I use PSP at work too for pretty much the same thing: cropping
screen shots for various types of spec docs and manuals. It's a
competent product that approaches but doesn't reach the capabilities of
Adobe's Photoshop.

Subject: Other uses for Paint Shop Pro
I asked for a screenshot program, and got Paint Shop Pro XI. As a
long-time Adobe Photoshop user (on Mac at home-I use XP at work),
I'm
not disappointed to have a decent photo editor on my box at work.
However, I don't foresee doing that much with PSPro except for
screenshots and editing/creating icons.
Has anyone else used Paint Shop in their technical writing?
Assuming
that nobody in the upper echelons decides we need a corporate
newsletter
and "volunteers" me to create it, I'd like to know what everyone on
the
list has done with their image editors.
