RE: Too old?
we're buying a big RV...the kind you live
in. However, instead of driving around like idiots, we're going to
move it four times a year, then park in a long-term grounds. In the
winter, we'll head south; New Mexico, Arizona, etc., in the summer,
we'll head north; Maine, Cape Code, Washington State, Canada, etc.?
Our best friends did just that in 1997.
They eventually settled down again (Helen found she couldn't live permanently without a garden), but they now have a smaller motor home they use for extended trips as the spirit moves them.
If either my husband or I were more mechanically inclined (RV repairs are *expensive*) we'd seriously consider it. We'd winter somewhere with sun (not necessarily warm, just sunny) and then come back to upstate NY in the summer.
