Not really...all you've done is moved the hiring process to the next level. You've told them that you want the job. Now, it's up to them to come through with an employment package that you both agree is equitable and fair. (I am assuming, of course, that you didn't tell them that you would work for peanuts and never ask for a day off. ) Most of the time, the only negotiation is for a pay rate that is within their predetermined window, as everything else was defined in the job description or is a standard employee package (medical, dental, 401K, etc.). However, more and more, you can also negotiate extra vacation days, work location, and such.
