I've had the experience several times that I crossed out something in a
contract and the person with whom I was negotiated had no idea why it
was even in there.

I've had the experience several times that I crossed out something in a
contract and no one noticed.

I've had the experience once that I crossed out something in a contract,
was told, "Sign it as-is or else," and walked away from the job. And
from what I've subsequently heard about that company, I'm glad I did.

I agree, why get in a snit and walk away from a contract you already
have something invested in?

Anne
