Tools: 'tis the season to be wary

Sadly, this time of year often becomes a significant target for  
authors of computer malware, since most computer companies (including  
those that develop security software) shut down for the holiday  
season or many of their staff take an extended holiday. That means  
virus and spyware authors can often get a significant jump on the  
security people -- and on us.
