Subject: Visio Question

what's worse, I can't find an Insert--Table or a Table shape that's editable
anywhere in this program.

Dear Suzanne,

There is a fairly simple way to insert a word table in a Visio drawing.

First create the Word table and save it in a Word file all by it self.

Open Visio, go to Insert Menu and Chose Object.

In the dialog box that open, Chose from a file.

Point the file to the previously created Word file and your table will be
there.

If instead of creating a table in advance, you want to do it on the fly,
then also go to Insert>Object Menu.

But in the dialog box chose Create New.

If you now chose Microsoft Word Document, a seemingly miraculous thing will
happen.

Word will open and wait patiently till you have finished making the Table.

Once you are done, the Table will appear in Visio as you have made it.

Grin.
