*sigh*

OK. You are right. It's not related to technical writing.

But without wanting to stir up trouble, and with the greatest of respect,
there are many emails that arrive via this list that are most definitely not
related to technical writing.

So, please, either blanket coverage or nothing at all. I am quite happy to
receive emails that are pleas for help from a fellow tech author. Part of
the reason I enjoy this mailing list is the sense of community (although
yeah, those Friday emails aren't always THAT funny ya know... ;-) ).

(yes, he has complained about the Friday 'funnies' but he's not REALLY a
grump)
