Gordon,
If I delete the images I will then have to maintain two separate copies of
the user manual - one with graphics and one without. If I could produce a
text only using the same source it would be better.

Edgar,
I tried to run the macro but i dont know why it doesnt run :(. Can you
please guide me through I'm not sure what am i doing wrong.

Either delete the images from the document before saving, or search the
generated HTML code for "img" tags and delete them that way.

Word presumes that HTML renditions of Word .DOC files should be as
accurate
as possible. So if you have images in your .DOC file then Word will
presume
you want them in the HTML output.
