If you have your field codes revealed, can you do a wild card search on
anything between the braces? I'm not at my own computer right now to test
that, but it used to work.
No, darlin', unfortunately. Same problem. Some search results are displayed
starting above the top of my text window.
I'm searching for Index fields. A previous writer didn't know how to get
Word to use colons as colons in an index entry, and substituted commas
instead. Since I am a big sophisticated ol Word user (hee!), I am searching
for each field, and substituting \: for each comma that I want to replace.
Maybe it's because the titles are in large type (and so are the index
entries), but the index entries that wrap around more than one line start,
as I say, off the page. I have to scroll up to see 'em, whether I use the
Search box or Ctrl-page down.
