Tech writing tie-in: know your audience. I don't use niggardly or rule
of thumb in my tech docs, cos I don't need to. I use male and female
connectors, and master and slave drives. Know your audience. Audience is
king.

Friday tie-in: don't document in English. English gets whacked with too
many misunderstandings about language and blasted with often
inappropriate political correctness. Document in French. French is
inherently sexist and, if all else fails, you can blame it on the
government agency that legislates their language and fines for language
abuse .... (Alternatively, you might document in Greek by swiping all
your text -- that's not a stab at legally-challenged burglar-Americans,
btw) and applying the Symbol font.)

Cheers AND grins,

Sean
