Well, some people call them "mainboards."

What about daughterboards?

And, is motherboard insulting? Is it bad? Why don't I see that?

I just had to write a procedure wherein a process is "aborted." Should I
have used "RU-486'd" instead?

And to answer John Posada, yep...instead of "motherboard;" henceforth, I
will use personboard, or just bored....
