Hi Karen,

Here's a suggestion you could try.

Have you had a look at the TOC and SEQ field codes and their switches?

A caption creates, by default {SEQ Figure \* ARABIC}

A table of figures creates, by default {TOC \h \z \c "Figure"}

The field codes have switches for example \h is a switch. More
information can be found in Insert | Field or Help.

ALT + F9 toggles displaying field codes.

In MS Word, we're trying to have a table of figures and reference them
as Figures 1-3 instead of having to individual list them as Figure 1,
Figure 2, and Figure 3. I'm looking at the switches for the captions,
but can't find anything to accomodate this. Any solutions?
