Hi everyone,

I need someone to please share their expertise with me. Primarily, the contents of a business requirement and functional requirement. I am new at writing these!
I have used them to write guides, but I have never been the author of them myself.

I am going to be working on a team of developers who have no documentation for the old system, or for the new system they are trying to implement.
1)What is in the business requirement, what templates/authoring tools have most of you used? (Word? What would you use to keep documentation on the intranet?)
2) What about the functional requirements?

What tools have most of you used to write these? Word? Any online help or newer technologies?

I saw a posting similar to this...but I need to know what content to include in the business/functional docs etc. The more I know, the better. I have to present ideas to my client.

Thank you much for your help!
