Back when I worked at Kinko's in the early 90's (coolest job ever...if
they paid what tech writing does, I'd still be there), we had a
product that would transfer foil onto laser toner. It was very, very
shiny stuff, and looked really cool on business cards.

sure you can probably find it cheaper elsewhere.
