So, it sounds like you want to focus on Web-based skills? If that's the case, then I'd look at CSS and HTML if you have not already. And when I say look at, I really mean get to know it really well so that, if push came to shove, you wouldn't have to rely on a tool to create and format a Web page for you. You might also want to look at JavaScript. That's if you're focusing on technical skills for the Web.

If you are interested in technical skills in general for technical writing, I would have to say that it depends on where you want to go. If you end up writing API documentation, then at least familiarizing yourself with something like C# or Java would help. At the very least, grasp object oriented concepts.

You might also consider domain knowledge. If you have an idea of the area that you want to work in, you should take a look at courses that will help you understand those. For example, if you know you want to get into the banking industry, an economics course or something similiar wouldn't be a bad idea.
