That is a problem faced by someone I know at another company. She works
too hard to get too many things done, then wonders why her requests for
help are brushed by senior management. (It shouldn't matter, but the
senior management is entirely male.)

I told her, gently, because you MEET every deadline, no matter how
ridiculous. You have to at least allow to project to appear to crash and
burn. Before you rescue it, of course.

Always painful but sometimes necessary. Not surprisingly, she won't do
it.

She tackles every impossible project with guns blazing, killing herself
in the process but getting the work out the door by the deadline.
