I couldn't agree more, Dori. Unfortunately, this kind of direct behavior
is frowned upon by most HR people. Too much company liability involved.

How scary would it be to openly discuss your reservations directly with
her?  Maybe offsite at a coffee shop?  I know, this flies in the face of
all office politics rules and the very idea would probably give a lawyer
hives.  

How wonderful would it be as an interviewee to have a potential boss be
this honest and communicative?  Or how scary?
