I've been a mostly contented Doc-to-Help writer for about 5 yrs now. I like it.

I've gotten used to Word, and Doc-to-Help is merely a huge extension of Word.

Advice?
1. Walk through the sample in the Manual.
2. The manual is actually quite good, with a good TOC. Look stuff up.
3. The manual is available as online help - use it to search.
4. We have a Yahoo group that supplements the support on the ComponentOne web site -
D2HUsers -at- yahoogroups -dot- com, Trainers and project managers monitor these lists, and are very helpful.

Tales of derring-do - well, I use conditional text a lot, and I've embedded a Camtasia movie in the file. What can I say, it's Windows HTML help - I do use custom templates I designed myself, though.

Seriously, additional questions - feel free to ask.
