You betcha.
Except when you want to push it through so you give them some obvious goobers and nits to pick so they can feel engaged and contributory without actually causing any trouble, such as asking troublesome questions like "what do they mean here, we have to have a company-wide safety program to meet the requirement? Since when have we had one of those?".
Stuff is going to be rewritten. We hope. Maybe it's the odd tied-to-the-bowsprit position I'm in as an ISO writer helping small companies reach toward compliance, but I really do feel a drive to set an example of excellence in the first draft. It's an attitude that reaches down through the food chain. And I really _do_ want my SMEs to ask those troublesome questions, so I don't want them to be distracted by spelling.
