Yes, there are ways to do it.

Usually with the caveat, "use smaller files," "you have to program
that yourself," or my personal favorite "You can do that, you just
have to work around the way the program is made."

Which tells me, I don't know about you, that Word isn't made to do
create large, complex, documents.
