No problem - I was assigning the generally-understood meanings of
"crop" and "compress" but I see your point.

Plenty of tech writers have had much better results with linking in
separately-saved image files into their documents, rather than pasting
screenshots directly into Word docs. If you feel the need to instead
beat Word at its own game, all the best! :-)
