I've been sitting on my behind and staring at a computer screen for 8 hours per day 5 days per week for the last 25 years, and my body not surprisingly is the worse for it.

I have recently broken out my bathing suit, put my timidity (not to say vanity) aside, and taken up swimming again. I'm hoping to get truly comfortable in the water, build up some stamina, and maybe even slim down a bit.

Are there any other would-be athletes among us? What do you do? How do you make the time?
