What happens if a translator

The editor will notify the editorial manager, who will deal with such an
incompetent translator.

That would be done only by a completely incompetent translator.
Anyone given the responsibility of translating from English ought to be able
to handle a compound verb. If they cannot, they have no business claiming to
be a translator.

All translations need to be edited by a technical editor who is a native
speaker of the language.

Any company that goes from translator to customer without having the text
edited is at the mercy of people who shouldn't be translating.
