There seems to be a dearth of information on this subject. Perhaps it
isn't being collected and disseminated very well.

>From what I can gather, RoboHelp does not play well with Acrobat. Ya
gotta laugh at that one.

If you install X5 and you have Acrobat 7, you don't get One-Step PDF and
you're not told and never given any options. I sure wasn't

If you install 6 and you have Acrobat 8 (or whatnot), you don't get
Adobe Elements. If you get Elements, you can produce PDF directly. If
not, then you must go through Word first, then convert Word into PDF.
What a freaking pain.

That is how I understand these things at this moment.

Well, no solution here, but I do have the same problem.

I really thought that One-Step PDF was no longer bundled with RoboHelp
X5. I've got Adobe Acrobat 7, so I didn't worry about it much, but I am
curious about the answer....

Maybe one of you kind folks can point me in the right direction.

When I installed RoboHelp X5, 1-Step PDF never installed. At least, I
don't think it did.

I tried re-installing, un-installing, and standing on my head. Nothing
worked.

I was informed 1-Step PDF was ALREADY installed, which it wasn't,
because it never functioned, and I could never use it, nor could I
remove it.

Any help would be appreciated, because I will be trying to install the
RoboHelp 6 upgrade one of these days, and I believe 1-Step needs to be
removed.

Any help - or a Fedexed martini -- would be greatly appreciated.
