Here's why you should ask: Let's say AT&T asks Acme Dynamite permission
to use one of Acme's graphics in an AT&T document. Acme agrees on a
one-time basis, and the AT&T document that uses the graphic doesn't cite
Acme as the source. If you don't ask, you won't know that you're
violating their agreement by copying the graphic into a new AT&T
document.
