I prefer it this way. I don't like being bored, and getting stuck in
WTFM mode without the ability to influence the business/organizational
process behind it will burn me out quickly as I'm forced to implement
the paradoxical and often stupid instructions of people with less
experience, innate intelligence and guile than myself (and this isn't
self-praise, as it's a relative comparison).
