That's EXACTLY what it seems some of in this field believe. Because we might cherry pick a low-hanging defect or two. we become QA experts. Because we write a sentence or two, we become user interface experts.

We think we're being impressive by asking a bunch of questions. You wana be impressive? Get to the point where you don't have to ask ANY questions because you know the application inside and out as well as the developers.

Put two writers next to each other to document an aspect of an application. One comes up with 50 questions. The other one comes up with 10 accurate pages in silence. Guess which one impresses me.
