What I find truly bizarre is that FM will "correct" two 
spaces after
a period to one space, but if you put *three* spaces after a 
period
it lets that go by.  Yet another good reason why it's better 
to
replace double-spacing with single and avoid ever being in a
situation where you need to do it the other way around.
