My opinion: trying to differentiate yourself is like trying to be
cool: if you try, you will fail. All you can do is be yourself and let
others decide whether you're cool, different, whatever.

"Being yourself", though, is harder than it looks. And it doesn't mean
never improving yourself. But you have to know what you're working
with. Intimately. Takes heaps of reflection, etc.
