I remember a situation a couple of years ago when we had to get a new
user guide for new hardware out in a short time.
The PM, graphic designer and I all agreed that line drawings would be
most professional for what we needed. However, if we had drawings
done, we wouldn't meet the deadline, so we took photos, and they are
still there today,(except for 2 that changed and so it was simple
enough to substitute a new photograph, which of course still had to be
edited)
