I'm using RoboHelp 5 with CVS source code control system.

When restructuring, I sometimes need to get rid of a topic that's not needed.

However, for CVS, I need to keep the file physically in the directory, in order to keep older versions of help working.

I find that even though the topic is no longer referenced in the TOC in RoboHelp, it is in the topic list, and it is still implicitly included in the output, and shows up on searches.

If I try to delete the topic from within RoboHelp, it tries to delete the physical file on the disk, which is not what I want.

Is there anyway to keep the topic file in the directory, but get RH5 to completely ignore it? Is it possible to do it in later versions of RoboHelp?

thanks,

Bridget
