Agreed about the praise. But if someone with insincere motives gave
me charity, I'd still have the cash. :) Maybe a person in grave need
doesn't really care about the giver's intentions. Empty praise, on
the other hand, is nothing at all.
That said, I'm not a big fan of charity. Equitable distribution should
be encoded into the economic system. (Hey, don't yell at me - you
started it. :))
