How did you obtain your FrameMaker experience?

I'm in the process of looking for a new job and many positions require FrameMaker experience. I did the whole "Classroom in a Book" option to self-teach. When I'm asked in an interview if I have experience, I indicate that I have taught myself, but have not used it in a work environment. This is never enough for anyone.

So, the age old question, how do you get OTJ experience if no one will hire you if you don't have OTJ experience?
