If I were still at my previous gig, I swear I would have forwarded
this entire thread to my manager.

When I started there we all had desktops that had 17" monitors, that
were then replaced by laptops with 15" screens. I think at one point
I even had a laptop with a 14.5" screen. And management couldn't
understand why a couple of us weren't completely *thilled* about
getting laptops. And then they refused to purchase monitors for the
writers, despite the fact that most everyone in Support and
Development not only had a monitor, but a second computer.

Tech writer Heck is being sentence to a small monitor. =(
