Interesting number.
The attorney in that suit spoke at our chapter a while back. He named a
much higher range, that would exclude almost any of us.
(Maybe Gene's up in that region, but he's a manager anyway)
The suit named at the beginning of the thread isn't the only one that
Sun's tangled up with, it seems.
However, I think that in one case, the company that Sun bought was awful
and Sun inherited the problems. I don't know what Sun has done to
improve the situation at that location.
OTOH, I do recall working (engineer/programming) 11+ hours a day for
months and months...
That was dismal. I did get some comp time out of it, but nothing like
time-and-a-half.
And no, the base pay wasn't too hot either.
