I started to respond point by point -- noting, for instance, that I
don't "equate professionalism with working over 40 hours" (and rarely do
so), and that here in Colorado's telecom industry (right next door to
Utah, and you're allowed to emigrate), the salary gap between
programmers and tech writers is not large (and in some cases
nonexistent). But I have neither the time nor the energy to tackle the
many, many claims in that rant that deserve to be addressed.

I'll just leave it at this: Apparently, you're trapped in a terribly
hostile, depressing, and bleak society where you're continually
repressed and exploited by people who enjoy inflicting pain and
suffering on their workers and who can't even see that it's not in their
own long-term interest to do so.

Or maybe you're trapped inside a terribly bitter and angry mind.

Either way, you have my sympathy.
