Oh no. Not another "memory lane" thread. Not so soon.... aaargh! It's
sucking me in....

I might very well have had my sweaty fingers in the innards of your
Micom Word Processor. I was a factory-floor technician for Micom, and
then Philips (who bought Micom -- wuzzat 1983?), before eventually
getting started in the techwriting thing with Philips.
