Thanks for all your suggestions.
I did use the PDF icon to convert PDF for links/bookmarks.
Due to time constraint,Âremoved link and mentioned the section name, generated PDF, and sent it.
Scenario was:
Had to deliver 2 PDF documents and first PDF document had links to sections in the second PDF.
Links within the Word document (ToC and other internal hyperlinks) and to sections in Other Word document (external hyperlinks) were functional. .... But not in PDF file.
Changed the hyperlink to PDF file and converted to PDF using the PDF icon.
In PDF, on click of the hyperlink, the second PDF opens but to the first page and not to the specific section. Guess bookmark orÂpage no is not retained on conversion to the PDF format.
Am trying the HTML code of giving pagenode and page.
ÂRegards,
Vaishali

Subject: Hyperlink in PDF

Hi,
Could anyone please provide suggestions to generate PDF with cross-references.
I have two Word Document and am using Adobe Acrobat 8.0 to generate PDF.
There are some hyperlinks in Document 1 to sections in Document 2.
Have inserted bookmark and linked to them. Link word tot word works fine.
But when changed the hyperlink (.doc to .pdf) and converted to PDF, the link does not work.
Any workaround...
ÂRegards,
Vaishali
