Subject:Re: Eliminating file name from combined PDF From:Laura Lemay <lemay -at- lauralemay -dot- com> To:Dan Goldstein <DGoldstein -at- riverainmedical -dot- com> Date:Thu, 14 Aug 2008 13:23:30 -0700
It has nothing to do with Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver uses its own
built-in HTML display engine; there is no browser involved at all. You
can preview the web pages you create with Dreamweaver with the browser
of your choice. There is a configuration option in DW to choose the
browser, or there is also a menu that contains many multiple browsers.
It is also not a browser option. Or rather, it is a browser option, but
in this case no browser is putting that information there. Acrobat is.
Assuming that Joyce is using the Create PDF from Web Page option in
Acrobat, there is an option under Settings that says "Place Headers and
Footers on New Pages." Uncheck it and the headers and footers go away.
This was in the acrobat help, but it was kind of buried.
