I ask people to send Word documents to me as .doc files. I didn't know
there was a docx converter, but I don't need it, since I have no interest in
Word 2007, yet. If a document is worth reading, then it is worth saving in
a format that I can open without having to do extra work.

Also, don't AOL users have issues with AOL stripping files that have the
"wrong" type of extension?
