This reminds me of one of the 'games' that we played in my Tech Comm
program. We had Legos or a similar kind of building system. Each team of
3-5 students took 15 minutes to write instructions on how to build
(insert item named by professor). Then the teams traded off instructions
and had 20 minutes to use those instructions--without knowing what the
other team was describing! At the end we all met and laughed at our
constructed messes. Some were far better than others.

It was loads of fun and highly informative. I love team games like this.

Hey, that doesn't exactly sound like a fair game. In any real
instructions, you know what the end result is supposed to me, and I
believe it has been shown that it's much harder to follow instructions
without knowing what the final goal is. Requiring the teams to follow
each other's instructions without knowing what the item was to be built
seems artificial and like stacking the deck against everyone.
